Hunger-Free Holidays
No one should go hungry for the holidays.
The holidays are a time for gathering around the table, sharing traditions, and creating memories with the people we love. But for thousands of Iowa families, seniors, veterans and children, the season can bring added stress as they struggle to make ends meet.
Your gift today helps provide nutritious meals and hope to neighbors facing hunger across Food Bank of Iowa's 55-county service area. Together, we can help ensure more families have food on the table this holiday season—and support them long after the celebrations are over.
Because 97 cents of every dollar donated go directly toward feeding Iowans experiencing hunger, your generosity has a powerful impact on families in our communities.
Activity
Host a Virtual Food Drive
Skip the heavy lifting—a virtual food drive makes giving simple, fast, and impactful. Instead of collecting physical food items, your team or friends and family can donate online to your unique link. These donations allow Food Bank of Iowa to stretch every dollar three times further through our bulk purchasing power. That means we can quickly buy exactly what’s needed most, including fresh items like milk and eggs.
